Mrs. Moore was born February 25, 1908, in Berrien County, the daughter of the late Deliah Paulk Swilley and Benjamin Swilley. She was of the United Methodist faith.
Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Alapaha, but for the past year was a resident of Tift Health Care. She was a charter member of the Hilltop Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie P. Moore and son and daughter-in-law, Wendall and
Dianne Moore.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Osburn J. and Delores Moore of Alapaha and Wilburn L. and Vonnie Moore of Stanton, MI; daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Roy Akridge of Alapaha and Cheryl
"Sherry" and Bill Chambers of Leesburg; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 22 great
greatgrandchildren.
Services were held at Glory Methodist Church in Alapaha. Rev. Billy Roberts officiating. Eulogy was given
by Sherry Chambers.
Interment was held at Glory Methodist Church Cemetery.
