Cleota A. Woolman
Resident of Saratoga, California
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Cleota passed away suddenly on Feb. 15th 2014 on earth and reunited with her beloved Billy in heaven. Cleota was born in Cheney, Kansas on October 22, 1926 and lived in Saratoga since 1952.
Cleota's childhood was spent on the farm with her family until she met the love of her life Bill who she loved and supported along with their family and friends during their marriage of 66 years. Those who met her, were touched by her gentle spirit, unselfish kindness, and her love of life.
Cleota had a passion for genealogy and gardening; which gave her many hours of pleasure. She was very proud having recently started taking lessons and playing the piano, her favorite song to play is Amazing Grace. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and she was never happier than when she was spending time watching her great grandkids playing and having fun together.
Cleota is survived by her daughter Diane, her son Richard, her grandsons Jason, Ricky, Matthew, her granddaughter Pamella and 6 great grand children Tyler, Ryan, Riley, Madison, Finn and Reagan. Her memory will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The memorial service will be held on Friday Feb. 28th, at 11:00 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
