John Hoyt Stephens, age 89, of McDonough, Ga died Monday, June 27, 2005. He was born in Atlanta, Ga, son to the late John P and Sara Stanley Stephens. Mr. Stephens loved Arabian and Tennessee Walker Horses, enjoyed gardening, and was an avid reader. After a brief retirement from the automobile industry, at the age of 74 he decided to go back to work and opened Senile Motors in McDonough.
Mr Stephens is survived by wife, Ernestine Stephens; daughters, Sandra Elaine Williams of Jasper, Ga, Dianne Wilson of Loganville, Ga; sons, Stan Stephens of Locust Grove, John Mark Stephens of McDonough; grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Amy Williams, Skyler Denton, Christopher Lewis, Melanie LeClair, Shelley Sowell, Jessica Young; 18 great grandchildren. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
