Betty L. Ebert, 90, of Stonington, IL died at 11:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born February 15, 1917 in Stonington, IL the daughter of George W. and Hattie Dechert Brauer. On September 16, 1947 she married Dale Ebert and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1986. Mrs. Ebert was a member of the United Methodist Church in Stonington and she had been a bookkeeper for Harbarger Ford in Stonington for 17 years. She was a landowner, an avid gardener and thoroughly enjoyed the activities of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son: Bill Ebert and wife Andra of Taylorville; Grandchildren: Morgan Ebert and Brenden Ebert and wife Alisa of Taylorville and Great grandson: Rian Ebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Robert Brauer.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 26, 2007 at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Ray Radae officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time in the funeral home on Saturday.
