Eatonton, Ga.- Margaret "Meme" Haynes NeSmith Register 89 of Lake Sinclair went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 9, 2013. She was born on June 29, 1924 in Empire, Dodge County, Georgia. She was the daughter of William Dallas and Gertrude Haynes NeSmith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker who was devoted to her family. She loved gardening, flowers, fishing, camping and being surrounded by her family and friends, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM. The services will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 PM. Private Interment will follow the service. Mrs. Register is survived by her husband of 66 years, Hezy Register, their 3 children: Glenda Bates (Harvey), Benny Register (Debby), and Jan Elliott. Grandchildren: Shauna Bramlett (Chris), Summer Williams (James), Amanda Lee (Todd), Misty Lamb (Steven), Kennon Elliott, Miranda Nix (Cory), Scott Register, Sarah Yearty (Troy), Lauren Elliott, and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Thelma "Sis" Lemon and a brother W.D. NeSmith Jr. (Ann).
