She was born in Catawba County North Carolina. By 1900 the family was living in the Double Shoals Mill Village in Cleveland County North Carolina. Sometime between 1900 and 1910 the family relocated to Mount Holly North Carolina. Georgia never married and lived out the rest of her life in Gaston County North Carolina.
