Intoxication Leads to Suicide. Hiram Winchel committed suicide by drinking carbolic acid, Sunday, one and one-half miles south of Essex. He had been drinking intoxicating liquor to excess. He was about 50 years of age, a laboring man, working with machinery, and is survived by his wife, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.H.
