She survives along with one daughter, Jacinda Dawn Cobb of Bristol; one son, Vincent Cobb of Bristol; two brothers, Charles (Nancy) Cobb of Middlebury and Rick D. (Betty Jean) Cobb of Goshen; his parents, J.T. and Juanita Cobb of Elkhart; one brother-in-law, Ben Matherly of Osceola; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Greg) Bemis of Osceola and Beverly Ward of Elkhart; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Cobb was employed for the past 14 years at Keystone RV Corp. as plant safety coordinator for 27 plants. Prior employment included Elcona Homes for 22 years as executive vice president and Carriage RV Inc. He was a member of the Cedar Road Missionary Church, Voice Ministries and Elijah's Fire. J. Wayne was a giant of a man with a loving, caring word for everyone he came in contact with. His charismatic nature drew people to him instantly like a magnet. His heartwarming wit, conversations and laugh will be missed by all.
Friends called at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 W. Franklin St., Elkhart. The funeral service was at Elijah's Fire International Church, 607 Middleton Run Road, Elkhart. Burial is in Prairie Street Cemetery.
