She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Day Ewing; sister, Myrtle Flake; three brothers, W.I. Cook, Eugene Cook, and Lee Roy Cook, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Kelley; step-son, Carl Dale Ewing; grandchildren, Maura and Jana Kelley, Ryan and Nicole Ewing; sister, Maurine Santoro; brother, John Cook, Sr.
Family and friends will gather from 3:00-5:00 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 3rd Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association , 5851 St. Augustine Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
