Mary Guadalupe Baca, 66, of Clovis, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at her home. She was born on Jan. 20, 1939, in Dilia, to Antonio and Nicanora Garcia Baca.

She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Family members said she loved to sew and cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carla Muniz James; and long-time companion, Manuel Muniz.

She is survived by three daughters, Yolanda Plyler (and husband, Steve) of Clovis, Nora Luna of Portales and Peggy Sue Baca of Edgewood; a son, Ronald Baca of Plainview, Texas; three brothers, Tony Baca (Nancy) of Clovis, Ernie Baca (Julia) of Bosque and Joe V. Baca of Clovis; a sister, Betty Moreno of Carlsbad; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate.

Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Burial is at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Steve Plyler, Artie Moreno, Johnny Urioste, Joe Smith, Kevin McDoughna and Jerry Rivera.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
