Oscar Derwood Dueitt, Jr. was born on January 25, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Oscar Derwood, Sr. and Kathryn M. (McKenzie) Dueitt. He worked as a glazer for various construction companies and had lived in Centerville for the past seven years. Oscar was a true musician. He loved to play his guitar and sing whenever he had the chance. Oscar also loved to be with his family. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Surviving relatives include wife, Rebekah Dueitt of Centerville; son, Casey Dueitt; daughter, Kelley Pisciella; brother, James Earl Dueitt & wife, Dina, of Houston; sisters, Gloria McCarty of Centerville and Brenda Royce & husband, Charles, of Houston and a grandson, Hunter Pisciella. Oscar is also survived by several special nieces and a special nephew: Debbie Mutschler, Sarah Mutschler, Josh Mutschler and Jamie Timko.
