VERONA - Mrs. Addie I. Eggen, 86, of 5684 Main St., died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 28, 1998 at University Hospital, Syracuse. Mrs. Eggen was born July 25, 1912, in Rome, daughter of Levi and Lillian Wilson Hathaway. She was a graduate of Verona High School. In 1944, in Verona, Addie married Ernest Eggen. Mr. Eggen died in 1976. Mrs. Eggen was a 70 year member of the Verona Presbyterian Church. Also a member of the Verona Grange, Oneida County Home Bureau and the Verona Garden Club. Surviving are I son, George Eggen of Verona, I daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Peter Waters of East Norwich and I great-granddaughter, Miranda Copper, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Malecki Funeral home, Inc., 23 Front St., of N. Sconondoa St., Vernon. Burial will be in the Verona Cemetery.
