Juliana married John Hawley at age 21, on September 30, 1875 by Preacher Matthew Ellison.

Juliana played the organ and John played the violin.

Juliana and John were the parents of ten children:

2. Marquis Delafayette Hawley (1879 - 1967)
3. William E. Hawley (1881 - ?)
4. Luther R. Hawley (1882 - 1920), murdered
5. Andrew Howard Hawley (1891 - 1976)
6. Emma Hawley Fitzpatrick (no dates)
7. Coralie E. Hawley Wallace (1893 - 1955)
8. Everett Ray Hawley (1895 - 1920)
9. Otey Hawley (no dates) he disappeared while delivering mail as a teenager and was never found
10.Jessie Pearl Hawley Lilly (1898 - 1979)
