GREGORY, Jane Alice Finchum, 74, of Tullahoma, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center Skill Care Facility in Winchester. She was born Nov. 7, 1933, in Tullahoma, to John Robert Finchum and Jessie Mae Arnold Finchum Evans. She was a member of the Baptist faith and was retired from the former Wisco Envelope Company. For many years she was a homemaker but also worked for Tullahoma City Schools and First United Methodist Church. She was an avid cook and enjoyed sharing "home cooked" meals with her neighbors, family, and friends. She served as a board member for the residents of Cedar Lane Community Council where she helped the association with events for the residents of Cedar Lane Village and various charities in the community. She also enjoyed gardening, bingo, and in earlier days, fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jean Finchum, Edna Wiseman, and Juanita Bailey; brothers, Ernest Finchum, Gerome Finchum, Billy Finchum, and James Finchum.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Freda) Gregory, Tullahoma; Kim (Mark) Clark, Winchester; Carole (Steve) Mc-Queen, Guntersville, Ala., and Chris (Sandra) Gregory, Tullahoma; grandchildren, Joshua (Stephanie) Gregory, Manchester, Sabrina Clark, Winchester; Shaun (Billie) Clark, Estill Springs; Bryce McQueen and Sean McQueen, Florida; Jordan Todd, Sarah Gregory, and Jonathan Gregory, all of Tullahoma; two brothers, Roland (Mary) Finchum, Shelbyville, and Truman (Susan) Finchum, of Texas; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Tullahoma Funeral Home with Rev. James Beaty offi ciating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Tullahoma Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.tullahomafuneralhome.com
