Dewey Braaksma, 78, Clearwater, Fla., passed away Oct. 27 in a Dunedin, Fla. hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Reformed Church in Randolph. Rev. John Frey will officiate. Burial will take place in the Randolph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Randolph after 3 pm Friday or from 12 noon until the time of service at the church.
Survivors are his wife, Minnie, Clearwater, Fla.; seven sons, John, Aurora, Ill.; Walter, Randolph; Peter, Aurora, Colo.; Ray, Columbus; Harold, Marvin and Donald, all of Clearwater, Fla.; three daughter, (Ann) Mrs. Sam Meekma, Randolph; (Deana) Mrs. Mervin Olson, Paduaca, Fl.; and (Betty) Mrs. George DeNure, Rio; five brothers, John and Peter, both of Friesland; Ray, Cambria; Frank, Beaver Dam; and Albert, Waupun; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Smith, and Mrs. Jessie Sommers, both of Cambria; 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
