Byron was a resident of Havertown, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. He served in the U.S. Army in Wyoming, Ft Lee, Virginia, Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Philadelphia Quarter Master Depot in Pennsylvania. Following his honorable discharge in 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary. Byron attended elementary and high school in San Marcos, Texas and Thorndale, Texas, and attended the University of Texas and graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 14 in Hope United Methodist Church, 1108 Steel Rd, Havertown, Pennsylvania, where family and friends may call after 12 noon. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. tributes.com
