Donna Edmonds Gibbs 8/6/1924 ~ 2/13/2003 WEST BOUNTIFUL - Donna Merle Edmonds Gibbs, our much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, died Thursday, February 13, 2003 from congestive heart failure. She was born August 6, 1924 in Bountiful, Utah to Martha and Raymond Edmonds. She married Charles B. Gibbs on November 27, 1942 and was eternally sealed to her husband and family in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 26, 1959. Donna served in many church callings. She was involved in the Young Women's program, taught Sunday School and led the music. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary in several business and government positions. She was active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and a local Home Arts Club. Surviving are her four children: Charla Hunt (Donald) of Garden City, Utah; Rick Gibbs of North Salt Lake; Debra Tobler (Larry) of West Bountiful; and Shelley Isakson (David) of North Ogden; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rayone, Kathy, Diane and Linda; and brother, Gary. Her husband, her parents, a daughter, two sisters, four brothers and a great-grandchild preceded her in death. We warmly appreciate Vista Care Hospice, (Mindy Green and Holli Wilmeth), Jean Weinberger and the TCC Unit at Lakeview Hospital and Rocky Mtn Rehab for their loving care Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the West Bountiful 9th Ward Chapel, 1930 North 600 West. Friends may call Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Tuesday morning from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
