Mrs. Winnie Brown Wingate, age 91 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Ga. following a brief illness.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Wingate of Willacoochee, GA, and Judy Gillis and husband Dougal, Jr. of Willacoochee, GA, three granddaughters, Alisha Morgan and husband Anthony of Tillman, S.C., Kayla James and husband Ray of Pearson, GA, and Adrianna Gillis of Willacoochee, GA, and one great grandson Jaxon Lowe.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wingate will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Willacoochee First Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Bill Huffstuttler officiating. Mrs. Wingate will lie in state at the church from 10:00 until the funeral hour. The interment will follow in Willacoochee City Cemetery. v Family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. from 6:00-9:00 P.M. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
