After she had passed the 51 milestone in life's journey, on Sept. 15th, 1909, Mrs. Thomas F. Coakley, who had lived in this neighborhood since 1890, died. Her maiden name was Amandy Low Stearman, born in Kentucky Nov. 17, 1857.
When Sister Coakley was but 19 years of age she was converted to God and ever since lived a faithful christian life.
In 1877 she was married to Thomas F. Coakley and to this union were born four sons and three daughters....Her mortal remains were consigned to Mother Earth in the Fullerton cemetery....
