ARTHUR FOREMAN
Arthur Foreman, 72, of 2787 Airport Road, East Gary (Portage township) died Monday afternoon in Porter Memorial hospital after a long illness.
Born in Portage Township, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Foreman and was a lifelong resident of Portage Township.
He had been a farmer many years and also worked for the Grand Truck railroad. He and his wife celebrated their golden anniversary last year.
Surviving are his widow, Rose (Lenburg) Foreman; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Susdorf of Phoenix; two grandchildren and a brother, Wilfred of Hobart.
Services will be held Thursday in St. Peter's Lutheran church, McCool. The Rev. Thomas Strieter will officiate and burial will be in McCool cemetery.
