TO HOLD RITES FOR
MRS. FITZGERALD
SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Mrs. Ruth Fitzgerald, 72, wife of Joseph A. Fitzgerald, died Friday in Porter Memorial hospital after a lingering illness.
The decedent was born Sept., 7, 1878, in Morehead, KY., the daughte of John and Amanda (Johnston) Stanfield.
She was a member of the First Baptist church of Valparaiso.
Surviving in addition to the husband are five daughters, Mrs. Andrew Collins; Mrs. Donald Ainsworth and Mrs. Ray Allison, all of Valparaiso; Mrs. Raymond Chester of Gary, and Mrs. Theodore Reinert of Hammond; a number of grand and great grandchildren, and one brother, William Stanield, of Hollywood FL.
Memorial services are Sunday at the First Baptist church with the Rev. Herman E. Meyer officiating. Burial will be in McCool cemetery.
