Edith was born Nov. 16, 1943, in Graford to the late Vanis and Frances Knowles. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1962.
Edith met and married Eugene Cauto in Mineral Wells on Nov. 25, 1964, and they were stationed in Germany for two years. After Eugene was discharged, they returned to the Metroplex.
Survivors: Loving husband of 48 years, Eugene; daughters, Melissa Butler and husband, Blake, Angela Ferren and husband, Kevin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, Wilburn Knowles and wife, Erica, Janice Busby; many other relatives and friends.
