Ella E. Hall, 86, of La Crosse, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility, La Crosse.

She was born in 1927 in Hillsboro, Wis., to Seymour and Ruth (Powell) Rusk. Ella married Dean J. Hall, Jr., and together they had five children before later divorcing. Her father was a tailor and Ella also had quite a talent and love for sewing; she worked as a drapery seamstress for many years. Ella was very proud of her Irish Heritage. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in La Crosse and loved her church family.

Survivors include her four children: Dean J. (Sandra) Hall, III., Nancy Jean (Hall) (Lyle) Shaner, Dee Jay (Robyn) Hall, and Jadie "Jill" (Hall) (Michal) Leininger; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Daniel John Hall, in 1968; and three brothers.

Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
