CURWENSVILLE'S OWN COLUMN - Bishop Bloom, a lifelong resident of this vicinity (Curwensville, died Sunday morning in Danville insane asylum, aged about 77 years. About a month ago he went to the County Home to spend the winter with his brother, John Bloom. His health failed rapidly and about a week ago he became demented and authorities found it necessary to remove him to Danville, which was done last Tuesday. His body will be brought to Curwensville and interred in Oak Hill Cemetery, beside his wife who preceded him some years ago. Bishop Bloom was a man who had many friends and no enemies. Always ???? and kind and would go a long way out of his walk to do a favor for anyone. With one exception, he was the last of the Bloom family to which he was attached.
