Mrs. SIDNEY L. CROFUT
Mrs. Rena Crofut of West Arlington, wife of Sidney L. Crofut, died at her home Thursday.
She was born Aug 18, 1890, on Maple Hill in Shaftsbury, the daughter of Edward and Miriam (Buck) Somers, and she received her education in North Bennington and was a graduate of North Bennington High School. She was married to Mr. Crofut in 1917.
A charter member of the Battenkill Grange, she was a 50-year member of the Red Mountain chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and she belonged to the West Arlington Methodist Church.
Survivors besides her husband include one son, Roy, and one daughter, Mrs. Doris Wright, both of West Arlington; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Park of East Arlington; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at 2 pm at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be in the family plot in West Arlington.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Arlington Rescue Squad.

Mrs. Rena Crofut of West Arlington, wife of Sidney L. Crofut, died at her home Thursday.
