Lottie Lucille McKinney, 96, died in a Corpus Christi medical facility at 6:10 p.m. on Sept. 30, 1997. Funeral services were held Oct. 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Beeville, with Rev. Richard Bremer officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.

Mrs. McKinney was born to Jefferson Davis and Nancy (Edwards) Mills in Live Oak County on Aug. 21, 1901. She married Harry Timon McKinney in New Braunfels on June 12, 1939. She was a housewife and a Presbyterian.

Mr. McKinney preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1996.

Survivors include two nieces, Mary W. Sacks of Poway, Calif., and Mrs. Jimmy Myers of Dinero; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Myers, Wayne Wernli, Glenn Lee Myers, Jamie Myers, Gordon Russell, Kevin McCollom and Billy Thomas.
