Margaret Ester Boykin, age 86, of Quitman, passed away on March 10, 2014 at Rush Hospital.
She was born on November 27, 1927 to Claude and Mittie (Dew) McGrew at Clarke County, MS. She was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church and longtime member of Clarke County Brotherhood.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Marie and Shirley; sons, Arnold, Woodro, and Lavell Boykin including husbands and wifes; brothers, Henry H., William and Tony McGrew; sister, Polly Green; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton A. Boykin; parents, Claude A. and Mittie McGrew; 8 brothers & sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014, 10:30 am at the Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Whitaker and Rev. Steve Avera officiating. Burial will take place in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
