Laura Jane Quillin Richter, born on January 16, 1934 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the age of 77.

She is survived by six children: Gail Moore and husband, Brad; Mark, Scott and wife, Connie; Eugene and wife, Tatyana; Laura and fiancé, Boyd Hutton; and Paul; grandchildren: Jennifer and husband, Bramie, Aaron, Mark Jr., Kevin, Jessica and husband, Joe, Ryan, Arron, Chris, Alisha, and Leanora; great-grandchildren: Grace, Lillian, Noell, Kyla, Christian and Natalie; brother-in-law, John Achilles; other relatives and many dear friends.

She was a retired school teacher of 26 years and an applicant for the Teacher in Space Program. She was a member of 99's (International Organization of Women Pilots), Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity, and St. Francis Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21st from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough. Service Tuesday March 22, 2011 10:00 a.m. St. Francis Episcopal Church 4242 Bluemel, Fr. Charles Schneider officiating. Interment in San Jose Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
