Jerry W. Chilton Sr., passed away March 10, 2014 at his farm. He was born December 9, 1946 in Springfield, MO the son of George W. and Fay Chilton. Jerry served his country in the Army in Viet-Nam. He worked for the Frisco Railroad as a journeyman painter, he had also been a welder and after retiring he worked on his farm, fished and spent time with his family, church and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Charles and Bobby. Jerry leaves behind his wife, Sherry Chilton, eight children; Jerry Jr, Cathy Atkins, Melissa Prichard, Nicole Ewing, Natalie McElroy, George Chilton, Angie Webster and Samantha Chilton, step-children; Michael Schlipp, Nick Smith, Terry Hamlett, John Schlipp, and Kelly Meier, a sister, Sheila Simmons, a brother Darrell Chilton, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives.
