He was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on May 25, 1942, the son of the late Carl Henry and Elsie Irene (Hurley) Henry.
On September 3, 1966, in Goodland, Indiana, he married Carolyn Jean Coty. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Shannon (Kevin) Kellner and Scott Henry; one grandson and one brother, Larry (Sue) Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Wendell Henry.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed electrician and retired from the United Telephone Company where he was employed for 19 years.
