Charles Lloyd Dinsmore Sr., 88, of Decatur, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born March 25, 1917, in Morgan County to Dr. W.M. Dinsmore and Emma Abercrombie Dinsmore.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty M. Dinsmore; two sons, Charles Lloyd Dinsmore Jr. of Anniston and John Wilson Dinsmore of Birmingham; one sister, Francis Dinsmore McLaughlin of Birmingham; five grandchildren, Chuck Dinsmore, Wade Dinsmore, Attlee, Dinsmore, Amanda Dinsmore and Emma Dinsmore; one stepgrandson, Brian Johnson; and four great-grandsons, Will, Marlee, Riley and Jack.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Dinsmore, Wade Dinsmore, Attlee Dinsmore, William M. “Billy” Dinsmore, Dr. Roland Guice and Neal McCreless.
