Mrs. Plexico attended Winthrop College and was secretary at Mitchell Road Elementary School for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia P. and Bradley Boutwell of Greenville, and Diane P. and Keith Meacham of Greenville; one son, Robert L. Plexico Jr. of Charleston; and her beloved grandchildren, Alexander Hoke and Avery Frances Boutwell, Dallas Coleman, Layton James, and Taylor Diane Meacham.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. John Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 1 to 2 p.m. at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
