Mrs. Maude Snook
Mrs. Maude Ellison Snook, 84, of 432 Elliott St., died Monday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of South Cortland, living in Syracuse the past 52 years. Mrs. Snook was a retired plastic mold maker for the Gray-Syracuse Co. of Manlius. She was a member of the Salvation Army, the Golden Agers, the Salvation Army Home League and R.S.V.P.
Surviving are four sons, Richard Snook of Liverpool, Ralph of North Carolina, Luther of East Syracuse, and Kenneth Ellison; seven daughters, Mrs. Fern Murdock of Upper Greenwood, N.J., Mrs. Marjorie Pollard and Mrs. Alice Hall, both of Daytona Beach, Fla., Mrs. Doris Austin of Marathon, Mrs. Lois VanPatten of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Phyllis Ferrante and Mrs. Helen Campolito; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Citadel, 757 S. Warren St. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home, 503 W. Onondaga St.
