DEATH OF W.H. STILL
-------------------

Mr. William H. Still, stepson of Mr. R.M. Gilmore, died at the latters residence in this city Tuesday night last at 10 o'clock. Mr. Still was taken sick with a chill one week ago yesterday. His illness rapidly developed into brain fever and by Monday, just four days after he was taken down, it was apparent that death was approaching.

At the time of his death Mr. Still was 31 years of age. He was born and raised in Texas and though a Cherokee by blood, never came to the Indian country until almost six years ago, and during his residence here made many friends who are deeply painted to learn of his untimely death. Mr. Still became a member of the Baptist Church while living in Texas several years ago. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He leaves a wife and three children who have the sympathy of the entire community.

The funeral services were held yesterday at 3 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church, Rv. M. F. Williams, conducting the same. The interment was made in the city cemetery.
