William H. Gardner, 79, of Lodi, died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Gardner was a native of South Dakota. He moved ot Lodi from Stockton about 20 years ago. He had been an airlinew pilot before retiring and beginning his own trucking company, Gardner Trucking Co., in Stockton.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gardner of Lodi; one sister, Helen Rump of Colorado and one brother, Alan Gardner of Colorado.
