John Harley, age 82, of Mableton, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005. He was a retired Army Veteran serving during World War II and Korean Conflict, member of the 2nd Armored Division Association. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Austell. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Martha "Sue" Harley; two sons, Johnny "Wayne" Harley of Austell and Sterling C. Harley of Powder Springs; one daughter, Alice Harley-Wosnig of Harlingen, TX; and five grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3:00 Sunday, December 18 at White Columns Funeral Chapel in Mableton with Rev. Mark Jordan and Rev. Susan Allen Grady officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Friday, and 5:00 to 7:00 on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment held at Mount Harmony Gardens with Full Military Honors.
