Survived by his wife, Joyce Sedlacek; step-children, Dianna Kanthack, Mary (Brad) Kerzich, John Horn; sisters, Millie Cardenas and Rosemarie Venegas; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Julia Sedlacek; brothers, Frank and Joe; sister, MaryAnn.
Born in Chicago, resident of Romeoville/Joliet area.
He was a proud army veteran.
He was a volunteer fireman and retired truck driver.
A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Christian Church, 114 Channahon Street, Shorewood, IL 60404 on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. to celebrate his life.
