She married Norman Awbrey on December 24, 1947. They lived in Reedley, where they raised their four sons. Norman passed away in 1993 and Vincelle married Wayne Comstock in 1998.

Besides a busy life devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Vincelle was very active as a volunteer in March of Dimes, in PTA, serving as President, and as a Den Mother in Cub Scouts. She also worked in a variety of office positions in local companies, as well as many years as a teacher's aide impacting many local children.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Vincent and Leona Spallina, her son Terry Awbrey, her husband Norman Awbrey, and her second husband Wayne Comstock.
