Perry A. Cook
Perry A. Cook, 65, 323 Burgess St., died in a local hos-
pital at 1 a.m. today after a five-week illness. He had been
suffering a heart condition.
A retired carpenter, he formerly was employed by the
Byus-Mankin Lumber Co., and was a member of the First
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Macie Cook; one dau-
ghter, Mrs. Reginald Trump, Barlow, Fla.; three sons,
Donald G., Delmar, Calif.; Edwin C., Greenbay, Wis., and
Alvin R., serving with the Navy; two sisters, Mrs. Roy
Brooks, Pineville, and Mrs. Alvin Bailey, Hurricane, and
five grandchildren.
The body is at the Calfee Funeral Home pending com-
pletion of arrangements.

conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church
with Dr. Alvin J. Cook in charge. Burial will be in Sunset
Memorial Park.
Cook died in a local hospital at 1 a.m. Friday after a
five-week illness.
The body will be taken from the Calfee Funeral Home
to the church one hour before the services.
