WEST COLUMBIA—A funeral service for Wilma McLeod Quesenberry, 78, of West Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Springdale Baptist Church. Reverend Ray S. Lowe will officiate.
Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073.
Mrs. Quesenberry, beloved wife of 51 years to the late Oden "Bob" Robert Quesenberry, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Gray McLeod and Mattie Aldrich McLeod. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church and retired from AT&T after 40 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who devoted her retirement years to her grandchildren. She was a wise and patient woman who loved her family dearly.
Surviving are her daughters, Robin Quesenberry Lowe (Ray) of Kershaw and Sandy Quesenberry Best (Eddie) of Irmo; son, Daniel Gray Quesenberry of West Columbia; four grandchildren, McLeod Best, McKenna Best, Jonathan Lowe and Michael Lowe and a loving extended family. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph, Norman, Kenneth and Alvin McLeod.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Send Me Fund" at Springdale Baptist Church, 357 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
