Child Drowned. Just as we were ready to go to press we learned that Willie, a three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Alspach, residing at the old planing mill property, fell off a footbridge across the mill race and was drowned. The child was not missed until the body was found by one of the Knight children, lodged against one of the piling supporting the railroad bridge spanning the race, which is about two squares from the place of drowning.
