David Richard Adams, 34, died, Nov. 23, 1983, in an auto accident. Born June 6, 1949, at Stafford, he married Christina F. Hirst July 3, 1982, in Hutchinson. He attended schools in Stafford and Kinsley. He was a construction laborer.

He was a member of Kinsley Baptist Church,a Vietnam War verteran and a member of AMVETS.

Survivors: widow of the home; stepson, Matthew Christian Horton, of the home; stepdaughters, Laura May Horton, Jennifer Denise Horton, of the home; parents, Mr and Mrs. Dee M. Adams, Partridge; brothers, William J. Hicks, Kinsley, Charles D. Adams, Los Angeles, Calif., Karl G. Skinner, Boulder, Colo., A.L. Adams, Newburgh, Ind., Bill W. Adams, Oklahoma City, Benny Adams, Great Lakes, Ill.; sister, Shirley June Adams, Rogers, Ark.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Partridge Community Church; the Rev. Marvin Bales. Burial at Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. memorials to the Kansas IOOF Eye Bank.
