Mrs. Abigail CUSHING Hersey

Daughter of Captain Abel Cushing and Mary Allen Jacob, granddaughter of Reverend Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter, Peter Jacob and Hannah Allen.

Abigail married Captain Thomas Hersey, the son of Jonathan Hersey and Lydia Cushing, the daughter of Captain Daniel Cushing and Sarah Lincoln.

They were married 02 Oct 1761 in Hingham and had ten children; Thomas, Laban, Charles, Abel, Abigail, Abner, Seth, Rebecca, Elijah, and Lydia.
