On Oct. 8, 1868, Captain Baldwin was united in marriage to Miss Lucy Whitney, daughter of Judge John Whitney, of Fayette, Miss., and she died in 1900, two days after the death of their eldest child. Concerning the children of this union the following brief record is entered: Lucille, whose death occurred in 1900, was the wife of P. D.
