MONTGOMERY, Frances Pauline McGuire Bailey, 94, died Wed., Mar. 5, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Morgan County, KY on April 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Orville Wallace and Bessie Lee Ratliff McGuire. Pauline was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert McGuire, Virgil Bailey, and Clark Montgomery; her children, Paul Bailey, James Bailey, Christine Myers, and Maureen Solomon; one grandchild, Rick Montgomery; and three sisters, Lorine McGuire, Adeline McGuire Pigg, and Mayme McGuire Risner. She is survived by two sons, Rod (Beverly) Montgomery, Paris, KY and Hargis (Donna) Montgomery, Lexington, KY; one daughter, :Priscilla Montgomery Baxter, Lexington, KY; two daughter-in-laws, Patsy Bailey Glidersleeve and Janet Bailey Spriggs, both of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was a longtime and beloved member of the Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church. She will be remembered as an avid homemaker who loved her garden, loved to crochet, and loved to cook. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Sat. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Rev. C.J. Murray. Visitation will be 12 noon Sat. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
