Services for Reverend C. B. Warren, 82, of Gladewater, will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 2 P.M. at the Abundant Life Temple in Gladewater with Reverend Danny Russo, Reverend Kevin Prince, Reverend Jeff Story, and Reverend Mike Littlefield officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park.

Born on August 3, 1931, in Athens, Texas, he entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was a 1949 graduate of Gladewater High School, a 1951 graduate of Kilgore College, a 1954 graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota.

On October 15, 1955, he married Diane Gentry in Gladewater, Texas.

In 1956, he began his pastoral ministry in Corsicana and then he served the congregation in De Leon. In 1960 until his retirement in 2011, he pastored the First United Pentecostal Church in Gladewater. Prior to his pastoral ministry, he served as an evangelist of United Pentecostal Church International.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diane Warren of Gladewater; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Price of Humble; Sheila and Reverend Kerry Lee of Crosby; and Sherry and Reverend Thomas Ainsworth of Gladewater; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Darlene Warren of Baltimore, Ohio; three sisters and brother-in-law, Jimmie McKinley of Gladewater; Velma George of De Soto; and Joyce and Don Gentry of Arlington; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Warren, Jr. and Sarah Jewel Hosch; his son, Cullen Mark Warren; and his sister, Nancy Marrs.

He was a mighty Soldier of the Cross, a devoted husband, a loving father, a precious grandfather, a loyal brother, and a dear and cherished friend. He will be sorely missed by all those he touched shoulders with along the way.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Ron Withers, Reverend Alton Thornhill, Paul Commins, Dustin Watson, Nathan Crawford, and James Andrews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
