She was born July 13, 1923 in Mogadore, Ohio to the late Roscoe and Frances (Spencer) Stahl. Mrs. Chipps retired from Poulson Rubber in Garrettsville after 25 years of service where she worked as an inspector.
Survivors include her sons, William (Nancy) Chipps, Jr. of Tallmadge, Dwayne (Ginny) Chipps of Ariz.; daughter, Elaine Honabach of Fullerton, Cailf.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Chipps, Sr.; and daughter, Sandra Swiger.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday August 11, 2007 at the Shorts Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Carl Holm officiating.
Burial will follow in Edinburg Twp. Cemetery Edinburg, Ohio.
