While in the Army Air Corps he married Armilda Rasque on May 28, 1943.
Jim was a skilled cabinet maker and carpenter. He worked in the area many years while raising a family. He served the community of Cazenovia as Fire Chief for many years.
Jim was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion for over 50 years where he served in numerous positions at the local post #491.
He really enjoyed fishing in any season and traveling.
He was preceded in death by:

He is survived by:

We honor his life with a funeral service on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 12:00 noon in the Farber Funeral Chapel in Cazenovia with Pastor Joseph Corbin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
Burial will follow in the Cazenovia Hillside Cemetery.
