Glenna J. Garis, 79, Portage, died Sunday. She was born in Portage, daughter of James and Evelyn (Johnson) Morgan. Surviving are three children: Jennifer Miller, Connie Nagy and James; a granddaughter; and a sister, Darlene Shevock. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. "Gabby" Garis; and two brothers: John C. Morgan Sr. and infant James. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Portage, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at First Lutheran Church, Portage.
