She was born July 16, 1952 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Leonard and Euna Vanderpool Stansell.
She had an undeniable faith and a deep love for her family. She loved watching her grandkids play ball, she was always their biggest fan. She enjoyed working on the family farm and more than anything she loved spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; brother, Olen Stansell and sister, Brenda Nivens.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Jones; daughter, Debbie Smith and husband Rickey of Elkins; stepson, Rickey Jones all of Elkins; grandchildren, Skyler and Chase Smith, Dylan Way, Rebecca Jones all of Elkins and two brothers, Larry Stansell of Huntsville and Eddie Stansell of Elkins. The family would like to thank Dr. Dan Bradford and all the nurses and staff at Highlands Oncology, Natasha Huddleston with Circle of Life Hospice and family friend Tony Hui for all their support and wonderful care during her tenacious battle with cancer. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM, Thursday at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will be at McCord Cemetery.
